2019 PROJECTS NOW REVEALED

The Co-Pro Pitching Sessions present a selection of series projects in development to an audience of key industry decision-makers. 16 projects, selected within almost 400 submissions from all continents, are pitched by their producers to a panel of potential financiers: broadcasters, distributors, producers, public and private funds. 

The Pitching Sessions are followed by one-on-one meetings between the project representatives and their potential financing partners.
The winning project selected by a professionnal jury is awarded a "Best Project" award with a 50,000 euros prize.

NEW THE 2019 JURY

 

For the third consecutive year, a professional jury will award a prize of 50 000 € to the producers of the best project, to finance its development.

 

MEGHAN LYVERS
JURY PRESIDENT

Senior Vice President, Co-Productions & Development, CBS Studios International – USA/EMEA

Based in CBS's EMEA headquarters in Amsterdam, Meghan is responsible for developing new programming opportunities in the USA and on the international market. She joined CBS in 2014 as SVP Drama Development and helped develop series such as MacGyver, Bull and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend followed by time as SVP Cable/Digital where she developed programming for basic, pay cable and premium streaming services.

NATHALIE BIANCOLLI

Head of Acquisitions & International Fiction, France Télévisions - France

She started her career at CLT (RTL-Groupe Pandora) before joining the TF1 Group / AB Group in 2000 as Director of Acquisitions. In 2010 she became Director of Acquisitions for the Group. In 2017 she joined France Télévisions and launched in 2018 the Alliance (ZDF/RAI) focused on international co-productions.

ANNE CRONEMAN

Head of Film & TV Drama, SVT Sveriges Television – Sweden

She has over 30 productions to her production credit. The mini-series Kronprinsessan (The Crown) led her way from feature films into TV drama in 2005. She has also held various industry positions such as Vice Chairman of the Swedish Film Institute Board of Directors and President of the Swedish Film & TV Producers Association.

CAROLINE TORRANCE

Head of Scripted, Banijay Rights - UK

Caroline Torrance spearheads distributors’ ambitions in international drama arena working with in-house and external producers worldwide to develop and acquire scripted programming and comedy. She has overseen successes like Versailles and new dramas include Hidden, Straight Forward and Hierro. With over 20 years in television she has a wealth of experience from similar roles at BBC Worldwide, Endemol and Granada (ITV).

CHRISTIAN VESPER

Executive Vice President, Creative Director for Global Drama, Fremantle – USA & UK

He works with FremantleMedia production companies as a development partner with a focus on bolstering the international scripted slate. Prior to joining Fremantle, he spent 14 years at Sundance TV and held roles at HBO, iFilm, October Films and USA Films. He has been involved with many projects including The Honourable Woman, Top of the Lake and Deutschland 83.

CO-PRO HALL OF FAME

 

Since its creation in 2013, the Forum has selected promising series projects in development. These projects were presented to audiovisual industry decision-makers, including distributors, broadcasters, producers, private and public funds.
