Halle, 2023. Several groups of young people clash with the police in the town’s marketplace. The encounter escalates and ends in looting, arrests and one seriously injured. This day changes the lives of a group of environmental activists around the 17-year-old LUISE and triggers their political radicalization. The ensuing dynamics let the generations collide with full force. While being confronted with the double standards of their parents every young person asks themselves again and again: in which world do I want to live and how far am I willing to go for it?
