Le Jury International

Chris Brancato (Président)

Chris Brancato has written and produced over 200 hours of television, including such series as X-Files, Law and Order: Criminal Intent and Hannibal and co-created the Netflix series Narcos. In addition, Chris wrote and co-produced MGM’s popular gangster feature Hoodlum, starring Lawrence Fishburne, the sci-fi thriller Species II and executive produced the comedy feature Stealing Harvard. He is currently writing Sherlock 3 for Warner Brothers. 

He’s won the Peabody award for Boomtown, two Saturn awards for Hannibal, Golden Globes and BAFTA nominations for Narcos and a Writer’s Guild award for his work on X-Files, one of the Hundred Best Television Series. From 2006 to 2011 he was President of the Writers Guild Foundation. He works closely with Autism Speaks and other charities. 

Maria Feldman

Maria Feldman is a co-creator and producer of the critically acclaimed series False Flag. The series premiered at Berlinale and won the Grand Prize at Series Mania in 2015. False Flag was acquired by Canal+, FIC and Hulu. Maria is an Executive Producer of the Amazon Prime Original/Sony Pictures Television series Absentia, and a co-creator and producer of the new international series Fertile Crescent, which won the Co-Production Forum Prize at Series Mania in 2017.

Maria Schrader is a German actress, writer and director. She starred in the series Deutschland 83, which will be followed by Deutschland 86 in 2018. In 2016, she directed and co-wrote the film Stefan Zweig, Adieu l’Europe. This year, she starred in Fortitude (season 3) by Simon Donald, and The City and The City by Tony Grisoni, which screens at Series Mania in the International Panorama section.

Clovis Cornillac

Clovis Cornillac is a stage, film, and TV actor who appeared on the small screen for the first time in the series Un Village sur la colline in 1982. From 2001 to 2004, he played “Viking”, one of the starring roles in Central Nuit alongside Michel Creton. In 2015, he played lead role in the series Chefs for France 2. He also directed the last four episodes of the second season.

Pierre Lemaitre writes both novels and screenplays. After several thrillers, he wrote the novel “The Great Swindle”, which won the Goncourt prize in 2013. It was adapted into the movie See You Up There starring Albert Dupontel in 2018, which won the Cesar award for Best Adapted Screenplay. He is currently working on the adaptation of his dark novel “Three Days and a Life” for the screen, and Cadres Noirs, a six-episode series for ARTE.

Sophie Côté

Sophie Côté is the head of ICI TOU.TV, Radio Canada’s VOD platform, where she manages programming and original series. Previously, she set up and ran a studio for content creation at Ubisoft Montreal.

Sophie Deloche is a producer for cinema and TV and created her production company Astharté & Compagnie in 2007. Her work includes the thriller series Les Saisons Meurtrières, the comedy Vestiaires and more recently the webseries Les Engagés.

Philippe Buchet

Philippe Buchet is a producer with Les Productions au Clair de Lune and specializes in drama and new narratives. He is particularly interested in short forms, VR-AR and hybrid projects

Simon Bouisson

Simon Bouisson is a graduate of the Fémis film school. He directed Les Communes de Paris, the first step in a journey dedicated to youth and contemporary issues, and includes WEI OR DIE, which won the FIPA d’Or in 2016. This summer, he will shoot an interactive drama that will tackle terrorist attacks.
