Dr. Bernard Kouchner is the founder of the Doctors Without Borders and Doctors of the World charities. He was France’s Minister for Health and Humanitarian Action from 1992 to 1993, and then Minister for Foreign and European Affairs from 2007 to 2010. He is also the author of several books, including Ce que je crois and Dieu and les hommes (dialogues avec l’Abbé Pierre). Under the pseudonym of Bernard Gridaine, he has co-written several series including Hôtel de Police (1985) and En cas de bonheur (1989). Cécile Bois has been playing police commissioner Candice Renoir (France 2) since 2013, a character who juggles mysterious murders with family life. She will be at Séries Mania with Ali Marhyar, who plays her right-hand man in the series. They will be in Lille for the screening of two new episodes from the sixth season of Candice Renoir, preceded by a Q&A and an autograph session.
Charlie is a London-based writer and actress whose BAFTA-nominated Channel 4/Netflix series THE END OF THE F***ING WORLD has received rave reviews and recently won Best Drama Series at the RTS awards. Previously she has written an episode of Tom Basden's E4 series GAP YEAR (Eleven) and two episodes for Russell T Davies's E4 series BANANA (Red Productions). Chris Brancato has written and produced over 200 hours of television, including such series as X-Files, Law and Order: Criminal Intent, and Hannibal, and co-created the Netflix series Narcos. In addition, Chris Brancato wrote and co-produced MGM's popular gangster feature Hoodlum, starring Lawrence Fishburne, the sci-fi thriller Species II and executive produced the comedy feature Stealing Harvard. He is currently writing Sherlock 3 for Warner Brothers.
Clovis Cornillac is a stage, film, and TV actor who appeared on the small screen for the first time in the series Un Village sur la colline in 1982. From 2001 to 2004, he played “Viking”, one of the starring roles in Central Nuit alongside Michel Creton. In 2015, he played lead role in the series Chefs for France 2. He also directed the last four episodes of the second season.

He worked with Terry Gilliam on Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Tideland, Brothers Grimm and the now-infamous project for The Man Who Killed Don Quixote, which will finally be released this year, two decades after the first screenplay was written. For TV, he wrote The Red Riding Trilogy in 2009 and Southcliffe (Channel 4). This year, he returns to SERIES MANIA to present The City and the City.
