A former policeman who became an actor and a movie director, Olivier Marchal is the man who freshened the image of the police on TV. His career as an actor allowed him to play many detective characters, in Quai n°1, Les Rivières Pourpres or Police District. He also revolutionized the French cop drama genre as a screenwriter and a director, especially with darker and more realistic series, such as Flics, Braquo or Section zéro.
This meeting will show excerpts illustrating his more memorable roles and creations, this highlighting the huge differences before and after Olivier Marchal started working on cop series in France.
Masterclass moderated by Benoît Lagane (France Inter, Télématin).
This meeting will be entirely in French.
